Dreamtonics have released Vocoflex, available at the intro price of $159.20, increasing to $199.00 after the promotion.
Real-time voice creation & transformation plugin Vocoflex enables changing voice gender, blending male and female voices together, creating backing vocals and other-worldly voices, writing vocal ideas and demos, experimenting with voice extrapolation – all with access to unlimited voice types.
Specify a target voice by importing a voice recording. Vocoflex is then able to replace the timbre of any input voice with the target. Import more voices into Vocoflex, or create new target voices from scratch with the built-in voice generator, and then blend, morph, replace or transform your voice in many different ways!
Use cases:
Change voice gender – turn male into female and vice versa.
Blend male and female voices – to create something androgynous-sounding and unique.
Create backing vocals – from lead vocals and vice versa.
Transform and blend voices – while performing in real-time.
Write vocal ideas and create demos – using any voice of your choice and send to vocalists or rappers to learn before recording their parts for real.
Access unlimited voice types – expanding upon the range of voice databases currently available through Synthesizer V Studio Pro.
Create other-worldly voices – for experimental music and character sound design.
Experiment with voice extrapolation – making strong-sounding voices stronger, and weak-sounding voices weaker, for all kinds of audio content use cases.
Add as a plugin before your vocal effects chain – for even more creative flexibility, processing options and mixing finesse.
Features include:
Define a target voice – either by importing a voice sample as brief as 10 seconds, or using a feature that randomly generates voices based on user-specified gender and tone.
Analyze your imported voices – and turn them into a curve. Each dot on the curve represents a small chunk taken from the input file. You can even choose from our pre-loaded selection of voice presets to get you started, or use a color picker for voices, and an X/Y Pad to customize their gender. Change the timbre by randomizing the hue and share the hex code with your friends!
Record a voice – plug a microphone into your soundcard or load up Vocoflex as a plugin in your DAW, then start performing and Vocoflex will automatically change your voice based on the imported or generated voices.
Transform your voices – adjust the pitch, gain and move the light cursor to create a range of voice effects in real-time, then save them as new presets. Voices under the light will be added together and those in the shadow will be “subtracted” from the rest.
Control voices via MIDI – add way points to curves and map each to your MIDI controller’s buttons, knobs or sliders for more tactile movement between voices vs using a mouse.
